How much is my 2000 Honda Odyssey EX worth?

I have a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX and I'm wanting to see how much it is worth BASED ON YOUR view of it.

I have gotten major issues fixed to the point where it drives as smooth as it could ever be.

I got it for $2000 at 180,000 Mileage.

Personally, I would not offer you anything over $1,000 if you were to sell it. (Honestly, I would not offer you anything. If I seen this listed for sale somewhere online, I would keep scrolling.)

With that mileage, and the repairs needed, it's going to turn many buyers away. Anyone in the market for a used van like this is most likely not going to have the money it takes to fix it. Even though it drives, people are still going to use this (the repairs) as a strong negotiating point. You might have better luck selling it as a parts vehicle if you are looking to make some of this money back.

  • How much should I pay to replace the AC compressor on a 2010 Honda Odyssey? The air conditioning on my wife's minivan recently went out. I had her take it to a mechanic expecting a refill situations costing less than $100. When they got back to us they said the clutch would not engage on the AC and it required replacement costing over 1100 dollars. I've seen the part online for $250 to 450. How much is reasonable to pay for this repair? Would I be better off buying the part online and having someone else install it? I'm told the job is about 3 hours.
