Hyundai Low resale value?

Why do Hyundai/Kia have such low resale value? They have nice warranties from what I can see and the reliability has gotten a whole lot better compared to 10 or so years ago. (A little better under Toyota and Honda better)

I can find a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS in my area for less than $9,000!

Do people still think these cars are poorly made still?

Could i have fought my ticket in court?

Ok so today i was driving down the road back to my house. Not speeding or being reckless or anything, and also i drive a 2004 honda s2000 (if you don't know what that is i would look them up because they're sports cars and i'm sure that this had a play in the ticket. So i'm just driving and i don't always signal when i change lanes only when its actually busy on the roads but there really weren't any cars around me and the car in front of me was driving slowly so i went around him, about 15 seconds later a car slams on his breaks without signaling or anything and turns into a gas station and so instead of slamming on my breaks i just go around him, without signaling.About 10 seconds later i have a cop behind me and he turns his lights on and so i pull over. I ask him why i was pulled over and stated i know it wasn't for speeding and he says it was for not signaling when changing lanes, and so i explained to him that a car in front of me didn't signal and he says hes been watching me and i've changed lanes multiple time now without signaling (which is true but like i said the road is not busy) and so he doesn't seem to care. He goes back to his car looks at my record and sees that i have a few warnings and comes back with a ticket. I also have a puppy in my passenger seat and if i would have slammed on my breaks he would have went into my dashboard. So, i want to know if i could actually win this in court or if the judge if the judge will just side with the cop.

Why does my engine die after stalling? Manual transmission?

So I recently purchased a 93 Honda Del Sol, with 125k miles, and I bought it with a manual transmission because I wanted to learn it in a bucket so I could then transfer over to a newer model also stick. So as I'm learning I tend to stall the engine on that first gear, and half the time when I try to start it back up the engine won't turn on, or it ll turn on and I put in gear and the engine just dies out. But the battery is fine, electronics work, the car does crank up but won't turn on. But I leave it off for about ten seconds and then the car starts fine, and I'm able to "drive off", cause I honestly accelerate too much and let go of clutch to get me rolling. But yeah what could that problem be? Could my starter be messed up? Or is it the engine? Could I possible just need a tune up?
