Driver side passenger blind spot?
I learned how to drive in a Honda Pilot and was quite comfortable with changing lanes even though it is a SUV. The driver side mirror was quite big and I was able to see vehicles quite close to my own. Recently my parents bought me my first car and it is a sedan. I can't really see who's next to me in my lane and I could only see when there's a car around 8 feet behind my car in the other lane. I feel as if I can't see what I should be able to see. I do make sure to shoulder check but I still have trouble seeing out of my mirror. Any advice?
Indicate early that you want to change lanes, keep cheeking your rear veiw mirror so you know what is coming up besided you, look twice
Adjust your mirror like this. Sit up, look straight ahead, then tilt your head as far left as your shoulder. Then adjust the mirror so it just barely sees the back of the vehicle. Then sit back up straight and drive.
Go visit a local auto parts store and pick up a pair of the little "blind spot" mirrors that you can stick on the outside corner of your door mirrors. The little "fish eye" mirrors will give you a wide angle view of what's coming up behind you and should help when driving in traffic.

- Passenger side window won't go up after radio stolen? Recently my car was stolen about a week later we found the car and the only thing really missing was the radio which had been stolen. The window of the passenger side was also all the way down. Now, it won't go back up. Any ideas what could happened or how to fix it? I'm thinking it had something to do with the stolen radio and maybe a cable or something getting disconnected? The car is a 1996 Honda Civic with power windows. Checked the fuses and they are good.
