P0741 - Torque Converter CKT Performance Or Stuck Off? - 1

I just bought a used 2005 Honda Pilot, about 100 000 miles, and the same day the check engine light came on. I got a code reader and I get the code: P0741 - Torque Converter CKT Performance Or Stuck Off. The car drives fine, so I can't see anything wrong other than the yellow check engine light. What would that be? What should I do?

Honda pilot sounds like race car?

Honda pilot sounds like race car?

Added (1). All of a sudden I started the car today and the engine sounds so loud. When I drive it sounds like I'm driving inside a race car (re: RPM noise). What could be causing this?

What should I do? Repo man intentionally tried to damaged vehicle for revenge against a 6th graders mouth(IK pathetic)

Over the past few months my family has had ALOT of hardship due to the health problems facing our single mother of six. Hours ago, her car was repossessed. Our only car currently; it gets me and my siblings to school every morning 20 minutes away(we don't have access to a bus.) Long story short, the rude repo man got fed up with my 11 year old brothers mouth while he was putting her AWD Honda Pilot on his truck. This man says to my brother "I'm going to make sure your mother doesn't get her car back" and my brother says "She will watch us." Then he goes "Not without tires you aren t." He proceeds to drag our car out of the driveway and into the street, AT LEAST 60 feet from where the car originally was. NOTE THAT THE CAR WAS IN PARK WHEN HE DID THIS! I have pictures of the black tire marks that it made in the driveway. NOT ONLY THIS, but when he originally reversed as fast as he could into our driveway to take the car, he almost hit my six year old sister! Right now, we're going to worry about borrowing what she owes to get it out. However, I'm very worried that our only vehicle may very well now have transmission damage. My mom has bad credit right now and really the only option we have right now is getting our car back, if the transmission has damage or anything else wrong(he threatened to do more to it) than we won't be able to pay for that kind of repair right now or any repair for that matter. What's the first thing I should do in the morning? I'm located in Michigan.

Infiniti QX60, Acura MDX, or Honda Pilot?

My dad might have to move because of his job and my grandma and aunt would be moving in with us (I'm 17 and an only child) making there be five of us and basically having a SUV would be necessary. Would a used 2014 Infiniti QX60 (CPO with 29k miles), 2015 Acura MDX (non-CPO), or new 2017 Honda Pilot be best?

Added (1). BTW the Acura has 23k miles.

Would a Lifetime Warranty influence your car buying decision?

I'm debating between a 2017 Honda Pilot and 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Pilot costs $28K but comes with a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (several Honda dealers offer this) while Santa Fe costs $25K but just 10year/100k miles warranty.

So do you think its worth paying $3k more for a Pilot especially since it comes with a Lifetime Warranty? I mean the warranty probably is worth $3k alone?

Should I buy a low mileage 2015ish Sequoia or a 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L?

I can get a used sequioa with less than 40k miles (without warranty) for the same price as a new Honda EX-L with 100,000 powertrain warranty).

I can't decide between the two… I need something that will sit 3 car seats minimum, 4 is even better. We do plan on having more kids.

I know the Sequoia's a lot bigger, but I plan to use it as a commuting vehicle for at least a year and it seems like overkill.

Also, it doesn't seem the Sequoia is as safe as the Pilot, I think?

Which SUV would you recommend for a family of 4?

This is for a family of 4 with 2 children ages 1 & 3.

1. Nissan Pathfinder
2. Honda Pilot
3. Nissan Murano
4. Toyota Highlander
5. Honda CR-V
6. Hyundai Santa Fe
7. Mazda CX-9

Which would you highly recommend and why?

How strong is the 2008-2016 Toyota Sequoia's roof in a rollover compared to the 2016 Honda Pilot? How safe is it in general a comparison?

I'm looking to buy either a 2016 Sequoia or a 2016 Pilot. I would like to have the Sequoia over the pilot because we will have +3 carseats and want to have lots of kids.

However, from some rollover pics I've seen of Sequoias, it looks like the roofs crush like tin cans. How would they compare to SUV's like the 2016 Pilot which receives good safety ratings, specifically roof strength?

PS: I know there's a greater chance of rollover, but I'm more concerned which holds up better in that case and in general.

Added (1). By greater chance of rollover, I'm referring to the Sequoia.

Added (2). By greater "chance of rollover", I'm referring to the Sequoia.
