Problem with my honda cvic? Year 2000?
Ok so my car when accelerating past 4 rpm makes this weird noise like to much air is getting pushed out and it leaves a smell that smells like something is burning, I went to auto zone and got one of those free checks it came up as I needed a new o2 sensor, would that be right? I want to get it fixed but I'm also not trying to get ripped of because I don't know what it is. Any suggestions? Anything else it could be? It runs fine just has that problem.
If it does not come in a box or sealed can don't take advise or buy anything from Auto Zone. Take the car to a Honda Dealer and let then read the fault code. They are the only people who can tell you *exactly what is causing your problem.
If your hot rodding your fuel will not burn effiecently your o2 sensor is telling you that you have unburned fuel in your exaust honda's are not hot rods as depicted in the movies thats a fantasy buy a corvette if you want a street rod your honda was built as a fuel effiecent a to b grocery getter only don't believe fantasy to be reality this answer is reality don't be sore be real

I own a 2000 Honda oddessy and when I turn on the car if it is cold outside the TCS light turn on and I can't shift my car into drive only reverse and 1st and second and I usually have to wait for the car to heat up with the heat on and restart the car after a while for the TCS light to turn off and for me to use drive.
