Should I get a Honda CTX 700?

I'm 6 foot tall, and have 35 inch inseam. I bought a Honda scooter (the PCX 150) but the seats and frame are designed for a smaller person. I've had it two years and have never been happy with it. I want an automatic though cuz I have a bad hip and can't be propping myself up with my right leg while searching for gears with my left leg.

The CTX-700 is a good bit more top heavy than your scooter. It has a dual clutch transmission making shifting easier, but like any motorcycle you will need to hold the bike up at stops. I suggest your get your hip joint replaced then go motorcycle shopping after you get through with rehab. Alternately you could buy a three-wheeler that doesn't require you to hold it up but still gets your knees in the breeze.

  • Should I get an 87 Honda rebel for 1500 or a 15 Honda rebel for 4100? Both will have same insurance rate. I know the older one will have more problems to fix but is cheaper up front while the newer one cost more now but will have less problems in the future. Also in case you are wondering the 87 is a 450cc and the 15 is a 234cc.
