Should I sell my car and invest the money?
I have 2 cars. A 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse and an 2006 Honda S2000. I'm thinking of selling the Honda and getting 12-15k for it. Then investing that money.
I have a friend who builds and flips houses. He said if I invest he'll give me a good return on it when they sell. I forgot the percentage he said, but it was higher than doing a cd or anything like that.
I like my car, but I only drive that one once a week or so. Should I try and sell it and use it to make more money?
If you gonna invest do it on something that would always be valuable like silver or gold. Flipping house is the trend right now everybody is into it and doing it but with this economic is there a lot people buying those houses? If you get into a business like that i would recommend doing it your self unless your friend invest the same amount of money so if thinks go south you won't be feeling that you have been cheated…
Totally. You can make money, learn to flip houses, and do it yourself.
Hey as an investor i've done fix and flips multiple times! First thing you want to do is make sure you guys talk to an experienced realtor! And make sure while he is talking to the realtor you are there and you know what's going on as well! When you guys find out how much profit its in the flip! Then talk to your friend and find out what he will pay you if he flips it! If the return in profit sounds good to you then do it! Also make sure everything is written down on a paper before you lend money to him(like how much money you are going to lend him, your profit, etc…)!
- Should I replace speakers and headunit in car before I sell it? I have a Honda S2000 and I'm thinking of selling it soon. There speakers are blown, the aftermarket head unit is worn and finicky, there's an amp in the trunk, and the fob for the alarm needs reprogrammed. Should I replace the stock head unit and put some cheap speakers in or should I just leave it as is? I don't know if fixing the stuff would make a huge difference on the price I'd receive
