What does a fuel induction do for my car?
Will it help resolve the problem of a clogged fuel filter and top speed? When I was on the highway doing a short top speed test to see what my truck could do, it would get up to 90 mph but once it hits that speed it SLOWLY climbs up the speedometer until 95-100 mph then it wouldn't go faster? M. The brick shaped truck is pretty stable at 100 mph but I'm sure that it could go past 100 mph because after that the engine keeps redlining but it doesn't get anywhere. What could it be? What does this induction do for my car? A mechanic recommended that I get this service done on my car with almost 140,000 miles. I've never done this one my car. It's a 2903 Honda Element awd auto.
It does NOTHING for your car. It DOES increase the profit margin for your mechanic.
- What kind of fuel does a honda generator use? Hi, this may be a stupid question but i'm a city slicker planning on campong and i want to buy a honda generator, What kind of fuel does it use? Where do i get it?
- Does the fuel pump on a 1994 Honda Shados stay going, or is it only to prime the carbs when starting? My Honda Blackbird is also carbureted with no fuel pump, therefore I don't see why it'd be necessary for a classic style V-twin. Is it on all the time while the engine is running, or is it just used in tandem with the starter?
- Does the fuel tank size have any impact on fuel economy between vehicles? For example the new Honda Accords have a 56 Litre tank while the CRV has a 53 L and the Rogue a 55 L. Now the 2 latters are compact crossovers and are arguably bigger in size than the Accord, so would that mean they are using up more gas? Would that mean its better to buy the Accord if we were going based on just gas mileage?
- How many amps does a fuel pump for a 95 honda civic use? I blew 2 fuel pumps already because I wired them to the a hard line in the battery. Then I installed an in line fuse, but it was a 20 amp so the fuel pump still blew. My guy said a fuel pump uses about 6 amps so I need a 7.5 amp fuse. I'm wondering if I could use a 5 amp fuse because it's a very small engine and fuel pump. Does anyone know what the stock amp draw should be?
