What does P mean on a parking ticket where your vehicle type is written? As in: Vehicle GRY HOND P?

I received a parking ticket and really can't afford to pay it! My friend told me I should look for typos on the ticket in order to contest it. On the ticket where the vehicle type is listed, the line reads: "Vehicle GRY HOND P". I do own a grey honda, but I was not sure what the P stood for? I tried to google but couldn't find anything - please help!

It means grey Honda passenger vehicle. The judge will know what it means.

A minor typo is usually not enough to get a ticket thrown out. It would have to be substantially wrong before a judge will throw it out.

The vehicle description "GRY HOND P" stands for Grey Honda Passenger as in passenger car not to be confused with a t for truck we use the same abbreviations when we tow a car for impound

As long as they have the correct license number on there, you're not getting out of paying my friend.

If you can't afford parking tickets, wouldn't it be wise to AVOID them?

I would have said it could be the first letter of the model as you do not say what you have as in Honda Prelude? Because they shortened Grey to GRY. And the ticket will include the reg anyway.

Can you be more specific please?

  • Is this a guaranteed way to get out of a traffic ticket? Cops can't pull over/ticket diplomats right? You know, diplomatic immunity and whatnot? Plus I drive a black Honda that looks like it could be an official vehicle of an Embassy or Consulate. So suppose I put fake diplomatic plates on my car? That way if a cop ever clocks me for speeding and pulls up behind me intending to pull me over, he'd see my plates and not touch me with a 20 foot pole. Lol could that work?
  • How long does it take for loan max to repossess your car after your loan due date in Ohio? I took out an $800 title loan on my 2000 Honda Oddyssey (188,000 miles) and I can't make the initial repayment amount of $288 on time. How long will it be before they send someone out to repossess my car? I live in Ohio and I'm really afraid they will repossess it before I can come up with the cash.
  • I bumped a car while parallel parking? I bumped a car while parallel parking. It was a tight spot so i though i had enough space but i really didn't. The car was not damaged because it was a very light tough. My question is how can i know if a car will fit into the space? I drive a honda civic so i'm wondering how big the space has to be to get in? I have no problem parallel parking but sometimes the parallel parking space confuses me.
  • What type of vehicle should I get? I live in the mountains of WA need an awd or 4x4 would like something decent above a 2001. I have a 2002 Honda civic 2 door mint condition and almost 2 grand what can I and should I get? Anything but a wagon.
