What is the highest paying car dealership to work at?
I'm looking to get a job at a car dealership (not as a car salesmen, more of computer and phone work type of stuff) and i'm wondering which car brand would pay the highest? Like toyota, honda, lexus, bmw, gmc and so on.
It depends on experience and who owns the dealer. I work at a mazda dealer and cause of my experience, i'm making 35k.
Car dealerships are independent businesses, not owned by the makers. Each owner is either making money or not.
Probably the luxury brands such as Mercedes, Lexus, Jaguar, BMW, and Audi.
If you're not either selling or working on cars, you're not an earner, just overhead. Have a hard time seeing any dealer pay more than about $10 - $12/hr for that type of work, if that. What kind of cars the dealer sells (or if they sell cars at all) is fairly irrelevant, as you're not doing that.
Brands do not make any difference. That type of work has a salary value that most all businesses follow.
