What's your dream car and why?

Mine is a 4 way tie between the Hennessey Venom GT, The 2015 Acura/Honda NSX, Corvette Stingray C7 and a n Audi R8. I love the Venom because of its speed (fastest car in the world), the NSX and R8 because of its sleek design and the Stingray because its been a family favorite since my grandpa had one.

Mine would probably be a Jaguar XK-120 FHC, simply because in my opinion, it's the most beautiful car ever built.

A 140 or 150 would be nice too, since they look very similar.

I'd also love to have a 1957 Thunderbird.

And the General Lee.

And Adam West's Batmobile.

How many dream cars is one guy allowed to have?

For everyday driving the Tesla Model S P85+.
it's large (seats 5 adults 2 children like a minivan with extra storage space at the front)
it's safe (it has the highest ever safety test results even breaking a roof drop crash testing machine)
it's fast (faster than a BMW M5, the tesla accelerates like a rocket. The very low center of gravity also makes it agile for its weight)
it's luxurious (with a comfortable and adjustable air suspension you won't feel bumps on the road, add in all the cool technology inside, and the Tesla is a very luxurious car)
it's cheap to run (being extremely efficient and electric means that charging up costs less than fuelling up a similar car and maintenance is vastly cheaper because it has less moving parts)
It's environmentally friendly. (being electric the tesla generates a far smaller environmental impact than a regular car during its life. Add in that it for me, it would be charged by Ontario Power Generation which uses a large mix of nuclear and hydro plants to generate electricity and the cleanliness extends past the lack of exhaust on the car).

There are many cars that do individual things better than the tesla. There are faster cars, there are larger cars, there are more luxurious cars but none do everything quite as well as the tesla does. Add in that it looks amazing and the Tesla really turns out to be the best car in the world.

for weekend driving I would have a Mclaren MP4-12C Spider.
It was designed to compete with the Ferrari 458 Italia and does so amazingly. It has a smaller engine (3.9L vs the Ferraris' 4.5L) but it makes more power and torque while generating less pollution.
The car is also lighter and more rigid thanks to the F1 inspired carbon fiber chassis. This means that it accelerates and brakes faster. For handling the Mclaren is also better. Rather than using a conventional suspension setup, Mclaren gave the 12C very soft springs with computer controlled dampers. This means that on the road, the car is very comfortable and on the track with the turn of a knob, it can be equally aggressive. Add this amazing suspension with a lighter and F1 inspired brake steer technology (the inside rear brake is applied to help swing the car around corners) and the Mclaren handles better than the Ferrari.
The Mclaren also has a larger storage compartment, visibility and fuel economy which is a major downfall of supercars. Lastly, thanks to its carbon fibre chassis, the Spider (convertible) gained only 88 lbs over the coupe. Compare this to the 232 lbs gained by an Audi R8 Spyder over the coupe and it really is amazing. Better yet, the Mclaren lost no structural rigidity in losing the roof because the roof isn't part of the chassis.

A Ford Focus. I don't want any thing luxurious or fancy. The Focus offers everything I want such as technology, a sunroof, great MPG non hybrid car, reliability, great price for Titanium trim (or SEL/SES), and the option of a hatchback.

I currently drive a 2010 Mercedes E class but i want a 2013 CLS so bad

1968 hemi cuda. Why because nothing can beat it

I own my dream car; it's a very low mileage all original 1959 Jaguar XK150"S" DHC.

Picked it up at auction a few years ago for about 25 cents on the dollar.
