Where can I go to service my car for maintenance if I'm in another city?
My maintenence light warning came on today on my Honda and I'm currently in another city for work. Can I go the nearest Honda dealer to get it serviced or would I have to go through a mechanic
Yes you can go to the nearest dealer. Also, the dealership itself is a "mechanic" (service department) just like any other shop
You can just wait until you get home to have it serviced where you always do. Having the oil changed or tire rotated can wait a few more miles
You can go to any Honda dealer, but if you know people in the area you could ask for recommendations of a good mechanic.
Go to big o tire or similar place. They are national and can be trusted to do a good job at a reasonable cost.
You'll pay more at a Honda dealer, but if you're in a different town and don't have the name of a trusted mechanic, go to the dealer.
Not so fast! If you buy the correct viscosity motor oil at Walmart a new dealer of the car will change the oil and Honda oil filter LESS expensive than any other place.
Yes, you can go to the nearest Honda dealers… That is better than going to a mechanic…
- Can a dealer get a vehicle from another make? I have been going online recently, have seen the triumph daytona 675, and would like to look at and (probably) buy one, however the shop in town is a honda motorcycles, will they be able to source a bike from another make or are they stuck with new hondas? (the nearest triumph dealer is a good 2-3 hours drive away)
- Can i used another car models spark plugs to my car? I have sparkplugs for a toyota avalon V6 And they fit on my honda accord I want to know if i can use them Will it affect it mechanically
- What's average cost for car 30,000 maintenance service? I have a 2013 CR-V that I bought a few months back. Just got the oil changed at the dealership and they told me that I the car will be due for its 30,000 maintenance service in the winter. The honda service center charges $525 for the service. Is this average?
- Is it possible to trade in a used car for another used car? I bought a 2013 Toyota Yaris about 4 months ago. I bought mainly because it was cheap and fuel efficient. But I realized I don't really like. So I'm have buyers remorse. Is it possible to trade it in for another used car? I was thinking of getting a Honda Civic or a Volkswagen Jetta. How long should I wait to do the trade in?
