Where do i get rod bearings for a 1997 Prelude SH?

I have a 1997 Honda Prelude Type SH, however the 1997 had 50mm rod journals as opposed to the 1998-2001 which had 55mm journals. Everywhere I've gone to or called has told me the bearings from 1997 to 2001 are all the same, which is not true. I have proof of the old bearings in my hands. I've tried Napa, Autozone, Oriellys, Jegs. I even called ACL and Clevite/Mahle and they still all believe the bearings are the same. Where do I get bearings for this car of mine.

Go to the dealer. Their price is not that much higher than anyone else. And their info should be more accurate.

Rockauto.com shows Enginetech BB1520 for a 1.8888-1.8898 inch (48 mm) shaft. The "hsg bore" (whatever that is) is 2.008 inch (51 mm). I guess you know that new bearings do not have the same arc as ones that have been in service; you can't tell the fit until you get them in the bearing caps and torqued down.

Try Honda.
