Where should i weld in my muffler?
I'm putting a dynomax vt on my Honda. I'm redoing my exhaust but I'm leaving my stock cat. The muffler sounds really good on a lot of cars but you can hear the valve in the muffler and I don't like it. I will live with it, but I think I can prevent it by taking flowmasters advice. Flowmaster had a pamphlet with a muffler we got from them showing how to get the best performance from your muffler. It said to put the muffler like 2ft from the end, if I find a spot a bit before the rear wheels would you say it's a good place?
Usually, the rear seats have a rise in the floorpan where a muffler can fit. Measure before you buy.

- How to make my 2007 honda crv louder by exhaust/muffler? I have a 2007 honda crv and I'm not aloud to get a car, so I gotta do something to it haha, I wanna make it nice and loud to roll with a little more style. If I wanna make it sound good when accelerating, do I need a whole new exhaust system or could I do this with just a new muffler. And what are your suggestions for what brand I should get.
- Would a muffler change the sound? I just bought a 2006 Honda Civic sedan today and I was just wondering, I want more sound so right now it has stock exhaust, my question was if I get just the muffler without all the piping and stuff would it change the sound? Or would I have to get the whole kit like the pipes and stuff?
