Which air filter makes more sound?
I've honda stunner. And installed conical air filter, it is 2-3 inches long than K&N RC-1060. Do small filters make more sound or my one makes more sound? And one more thing… I've removed air filter box. What to do with pipes which were attached to it for some air intake or i don't know what those pipes are for.
And this matters because intake is so much noisier than exhaust? NOT. Some bikes get a compression boost from ram air. On a 125 cc bike, NOT. Some bikes do this crankcase ventilation thing into the filter box. Get a book on your bike: Haynes, Clymer, Honda. Your choice, dude.
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.

- My honda civic 04 automatic makes a rattle like sound when I turn the key off? I noticed that when i turn the key to the off position some where under my streering wheel I can here a little rattle like sound. It last about 1- 2 seconds (i hear the usual normal cooling down sound the engine makes after I turn it off. So I don't think its the engine cooling down ) Any ideas what it could be?
