Which CVT transmissions use a clutch and which uses a torque converter?
Lineartronic CVT
Honda CVT
Xtronic CVT
etc
What I know is that Subaru s CVT uses a clutch while Nissan CVT uses a torque converter am I right?
And why does it matter? BOTH systems appear to function adequately in the vehicles that they are installed in.
