Which is a better first car?

Hi. I'm looking to buy my first car. My two choices are
2002-2003 NIssan Maxima 3,5L
or
Infiniti i35 2002-2003 3.0

I want the maxima because its more sporty but I want the infiniti because it is luxerous. What is better buy?

DO NOT TELL ME GET HONDA OR TOYOTA OR NISSAN ATIMA! NOT MY STYLE!

Of these 2 choices the Infiniti i35 is by far the more reliable car. The Maxima is not that reliable and parts are outrageously expensive.

I wouldn't get the maxima, so sorry used to have one. So many recalls! Older nissans aren't as nice, truth is I would look into a Toyota. Maybe they're not your style, but I have a 2006 Toyota 4 runner it has 180,000 miles (around that) and it runs like new. I also have a 2014 Toyota Corolla, and I've never had an issue with either car. My daughter has a Nissan Altima 2007 and she has many issues with it same as my old car! Stay away from Nissan. Infinity, I mean they're nice cars I wish I could afford a new one lol but if I were you I would stay away. Insurance will be high on that car because it is a luxury vehicle. Get a Toyota, maybe a Honda or Chevy.
