Great truck. However, Ford F-150s and Chevrolet Silverados offer nearly comparable quality vehicles for a much lesser cost.

You'll find that pick-up owners are a very brand loyal bunch. Ford guys tend to keep buying Ford's. The same goes for Chevy and Dodge truck owners.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the Ridgeline is a unibody truck. Many people that buy pick-up's want a body-on-frame truck for greater towing capacity, higher payload, etc.

Honda Ridgelines are overpriced yuppie-mobiles, not trucks. Yuppies use ridgelines for hauling bags of peat moss and compost on the weekends.

They were ugly

They are not real trucks.

The ridgeline is built on the same platform as the Pilot SUV. It uses a unibody frame that incorporates the roof and door cills as structural parts of the chassis.
This style of chassis is very light and spacious which is great for cars and crossovers but not for trucks and heavy duty vehicles.

trucks like the F-150, Silverado 1500 and RAM 1500 are build with a body on frame style.
They have a very solid frame on which the engine, gearbox and suspension are mounted on and then the body and cabin are placed on top of that.
This style is heavier but much tougher offering a lot better structural rigidity to the frame allowing the vehicle to handle heavier payloads and towing.
as such, anyone buying a ridgeline to pull a trailer for their boat or for camping (or any other trailer for that matter) is faced with an easy decision. Go with a truck like an F-150 which has great payload and towing, or go with a ridgeline for a similar price with much lower payload and towing.
the choice is easy.
