Why do people get hondas other than better mpg?

Why hondas

Because its all they know. They get Honda's because they are ignorant and under the illusion that they are better than every other car out their which they are not. They are under powered and slow except for the S2000 and the Accord Coupe with the V6 and 6 speed manual. They have come along way since the 80's and 90's when they were death traps if you ever got broad sided or got into a frontal impact than you had better hope that somebody was watching over you. They are also the most common cars to have body rot problems and its not just one car its all their cars the Civic, Accord, Prelude ex all had body rot problems even some of the newer Honda's that I've sean like the early 2000's are starting to have body rot it starts out as small rust spots by the rear wheel wells and it spreads. Bottom line is that their are lots of cars that are better than Honda's and lots of people know this all ready its all a matter of opinion and as with all cars its all in how you take care of it.

Well I can't speak for everybody. But my close friend purchased a Honda civic back in 2000. He is by far the worst person when it comes to the treatment of vehicles! It still runs perfect to this day and gets exactly the same fuel millage it did 9 years ago. Other then oil changes I've only seen it in the shop a couple of time's and that was to replace the brake pads ( he's a late stopper). Now I'm an American man myself but this car really changed my point of view on Honda's products.

Honda built a reputation for reliability and affordability. When people had a good experience, they bought another to replace it.

Today there's more availability of parts so they are easy to customize and fix, and Honda built a following with the younger generations.

Reliable, and easy on mainteneance costs. 136K miles on my 98 Accord V6. Replaced a battery, alternator, and accomplished all recommended maintenance. I'm guessing it's good for 200K at least.

Honda are more customizable, and some cases fast…

  • Why are they different than other engines? Why do Honda engines, new and old, low miles to extremely high miles (over 190, xxx) love to rev without any problems? My car starts ticking when I try to rev it and my friends honda that has 200xxx miles on it revs like a champ
  • What are some Hondas that have low mpg? -must NOT be a car (has to be an SUV or truck) -has to have at least 20 city/25 highway mpg -must be a Honda My teacher just said that Hondas are really good cars and it's not like I'm going solely off her opinion her but I just wanted to look at some Honda vehicles and see if they even compare to the Jeeps and Subarus I've looked at.
  • How Cadillacs, Mercedes, BMWs cost more than Toyotas and Hondas What exactly are you getting for that extra money? I mean, you can get a Toyota that has leather seats, shaded windows, climate controls, and it would still cost less than a Cadillac XTS. What exactly are you getting for the extra money? Is it just the style you're paying for?
  • Why do uneducated people usually date other uneducated people? Like some hoodlum Mexican woman will fall madly in love with some cholo gang banger guy with face tattoos who's killed 10 people and works at McDonalds and thinks his primary aspiration in life is to smoke weed and collect air Jordan's and put a stupid spoiler on his 1995 Honda Civic. What's the attraction?
