Why is my brand new Troy Bilt TB130 with a Honda engine leaking oil?
I assembled the mower, added the oil as specified, checked the level, started it up, and mowed the yard. It worked well, however as I was nearing completion I noticed oil on the mower deck, on top of the filter (it was dry), the linkage, and everywhere. Why did it do this, can it be fixed, or should I return it. How do I keep it from happening a second time?
Return it. Apparently a gasket is either missing or poorly installed. It happens.
Ask to have the unit tested at the shop, and allow it to run for at least 15 minutes. Let the seller put in the correct amount of oil as well - on the off-chance that you over-filled it.
- Honda CR250R leaking black oil from exhaust pipe? My 2001 Honda CR250R 2-stroke motorcycle is leaking black tar-like oil out of the exhaust pipe. I have not payed much mind to it and its been happening for a while now. It not a constant leak but it will leak it out sometimes and my rear rim is filled with the black oil.
- Honda 1986 cr125 leaking oil? I traded an old car for this dirt bike and I've been riding it for a few months now and it's been leaking oil from a hole that is underneath the gas thing. I need to find out if that hole is supposed to be there or not and how to fix this. Thank you.
- Should I buy a brand new honda civic? Why or why not? I need a new car that is inexpensive, has full warranty, is reliable and I feel that's the best fit.
- Why should someone living in section 8 drive a brand new Mercedes Benz SUV? Some people do not qualify for government assistance and drive a 2009 Honda civic and work 2 jobs. The one driving the Benz said she has no insurance and now she wants the city to buy her a new car since her vehicle got damaged by flood. Why should taxpayers pay for her and also for her to buy a new luxury suv?
