Why isn't the Honda City available in North America?
When I visit India, I see a lot of Honda City cars on the roads. I was just wondering why it's not available in North America
Americans prefer larger cars, more freeways and interstates with long distance open roads. The Honda City isn't well suited to that. India has more congested streets, and people tend to opt for smaller and cheaper cars.
Hence the Civic and Accord models sell best in the US, and the smaller sub-compact cars sell better in India.
Honda market the cars that sell the best in various markets.
- Why isn't my 1989 honda vtr 250 getting a spark? I just bought a 1989 honda vtr 250 it has a strong crank like it wants to start but won't start. The battery was bad so I had to use a bigger battery from my dad's motorcycle and it would crank stron but still nothing. We took out the spark plug and put it in the wire and held it near frame and no spark at all while cranking, could it be a bad ignition coil, rectifier, or stator or what?
- Why isn't my 1995 Honda Civic starting? I have a 95 Honda Civic that only starts SOMETIMES. I noticed there's a subtle clicking noise that NEEDS TO HAPPEN before I turn the car on and it does this inconsistently. It's not the battery since I just replaced it. In order for me to turn the car on I have to turn the key back and forth until that clicking noise happens then it turns on. What is it?
- Why isn't fuel getting to engine in my 03 Honda civic? No CEL. Always cranks. Starts sometimes. If it starts and I turn it off, it will always start up if I try right away. However, if I wait a few minutes after turning off, it will not start for a few hours. Anyway, when the car doesn't start, fuel gets to the line that leads into the fuel injector rail, but not to the engine. Could all the fuel injectors decide not to work at the same time? Could there be something wrong with the fuel rail? Is there something else that could cause this?
- Best model year or generation for Honda Civic GX (the available non-comercial version)? The Honda Civic GX was sold to the public in certain states up to 2011. I'm not sure what year it began, but it covered some 3 generations of Honda Civics. I'm just not sure which one is the best? Seems like the first one had a 4 speed automatic, the second a CVT and the third a 5 speed automatic. I'm not sure which Hondas are better. Do you?
