Why people buy those POS Harleys?
Why don't they buy a Hayabusa?
Harleys are low, long, heavy and expensive. Whereas Hayabusa is comparable to a Bugatti Veyron.
Plus, Hayabusa in made in Japan, so it's got Honda like reliability. Harley, on the other hand, break down all the time.
So… Why people buy Harleys? Must be a baby boomers' thing which a millennial like me would never understand!
If you owned a Harley just for a week, you'd understand!
Millennial's don't understand a lot of things!
I buy what I want and its a Harley. Mind your own business
Because it isn't about reliability or efficiency, it's about the mystique and "cool factor" and the fact that they are made in the good old USA. You obviously know nothing about psychology. Typical ignorant millennial.
Been riding for over 55 yrs and never once wanted a HD OR a Hayabusa so there goes your therory down the sh! T-hole.
Trolling is an art. You are no artist.
Because they have the money and figure they'll get fair amount back in 5 years if they have to sell. Hayabusa attracts police attention, moderate ridden Harleys don't
Hayabusas have Suzuki-ike reliability.
Blackbirds have Honda-like reliability.
Veyrons are low, long, heavy and expensive.
Lies.
The truth: Only the AMF years were a POS, and most of these rebuilt.
Not All Harleys are heavy. Sportsters are 440 lbs.
My Dyna only cost $6K.
My Dyna does NOT break down. Neither did my '75 Sporty.
Calling me a Liar? I had more trouble with a Yamaha VStar than even a '68 Triumph.
Hayabusas are made in Korea. All metrics are disposable. They don't hold their any value.
I Will Admit, you get more bells and whistles for your money with a Japanese made.
I see more and more 20 yo's with Harleys. More all the time. For some, it is their first bike.
Your criteria is like; why do people buy one ton Chevy duallie Trucks when they could buy a 1/4 ton Datsun? Because the little Datsun CAN"T pull their horse trailer.
Try riding a Hayabusa to Sturgis--you will HURT after 60 miles.
I hope a 114 inch Harley beats your Korean kimchi eater in a drag and you lose title to him.
Why don't you ask why Americans buy and restore '57 Corvettes when they could buy 2 Sube WRXs for the same price?
Answer: If I have to explain it to you, you'll Never understand, anyway. Suffice it to say; buying a piece of America and preserving it.
- Why don't people buy a real car? It's crazy with all the money people dump into a car they could of saved up an bought a real sports or muscle car. Instead they'd buy a Honda, Volkswagen, or Mitsubishi. An waste money from car lowering it, buying bodykits or horrible rims that don't even help with performance. Can't forget a big spoiler, painted rims or a painted hood. Or cheap aftermarket parts. Like honestly why not save up a little drive a pos an leave it the way it is?
- Why don't more people buy Subaru? You just can't get a better deal for an AWD vehicle under $30,000. They are just as reliable as Nissan and Honda and have good mpg. Please no anti-Japanese car remarks, boring does not count as an answer.
- Why do some people buy new cars to save gas? It seems like people complain about high gas prices so they go and buy these expensive gas saving cars. Usually a Honda or Toyota hybrid that's about $35,000 dollars. So what's the point of buying the car if you just wasted all that money. You could have just used that money for gas. Don't you think it's better to just buy a cheap $1,000 dollar Honda and save all that money for gas? Because buying the new car you pretty much threw all the money away.
- Why are those round type mufflers always mounted sideways? Those round can shaped mufflers are always mounted pointing slightly sideways. Why? And why are they only on certain cars such as hondas subarus mitsubishi evos and dodge neons
