Will bad throttle body cause engine overheating?
Honda st-1300 police
No. Motors overheat because of bad thermostats
Leaking hoses.
Bad water pump
Bad head gaskets.
In the Summer heat radiator fans that don't work also cause overheating.
- 98 Honda CRV, Overheating randomly what is the cause? Hi, I have a 1998 Honda CRV that tends to overheat randomly (after an hour or so of driving) and go back down to normal. I replaced the thermostat and the problem still persists. We also checked the water levels and it does not seem to loose any water. What could be the cause?
- 2001 Honda CRV Throttle Body? 2001 Honda check engine light and scanner reads bad TPS, i replaced it still does the same car shifts 1st gear at 4000rpm. Fuel system cleaner took away the problem for a month but came back. So throttle body and sensors keep getting dirty. What is making it dirty?
- Can a bad map sensor cause my car to not run? I have a 1990 honda civic with a b18a1 swap. My car idles fine when it wants to start but whenever I press the gas it sputters and putts it doesn't put out enough power to move the car. I have recently changed the fiac and fitv so that's hopefully not the problem. I smogged my car and I failed in the CO ratings so I'm running really rich with the occasional backfire. I'm just wondering if I have a bad map sensor.
