Added (1). I got a recall notice for my '08 Accord saying that there was a problem with the airbag deployment and that they'll have a solution for it in the spring. Did anyone else get this notice saying there was a problem but they couldn't deal with it until spring? I'd really like to get it fixed as soon as possible as I have a baby due in April.
Usually when I take a vehicle in for recall work, it comes back worse that what it was when I took it to the dealership.
That is the "over-sensitive sensor" recall. See the sources. Since there were only 291 inadvertent deployments identified for the 2008 Accord you are probably not at much risk, but shutting the door gently anyway is a good idea!
