The title is nothing but a slogan under which the first Honda Accord model was released.
The Honda Accord line is now living through its 9th generation with three powertrains available - 2.4 L 16-valve DOHC 4-cylinder engine (185 hp) working in pair with 6-speed manual or CVT (continuously variable transmission), an upgraded 3.5 L 24-valve SOHC V6 paired with 6-speed manual or automatic (278 hp), and a hybrid variant combining a 2 L gasoline engine and an electrically powered engine powered by Li-Ion batteries. The latter version is equipped with CVT and provides 196 hp.
What do all modern Accord models have in common? All of them are fitted with:
- A climate control system with dual-zone coverage;
- A USB connector;
- i-Mid system incorporating both streaming audio and hands free calling with SMS texting via Bluetooth;
- an 8-inch LCD screen;
- a single angle backup camera;
- alloy wheels.
Safety has also been significantly enhanced by adding such optionally available features as:
- lane departure warning system;
- forward collision warning system;
- blind spot monitor.
Such highline models as Touring grades, EX and EX-L are provided with an adaptive cruise control system, LED Daytime running lamps, headlamps and tail lamps, and Smart Key (an electronic access and authorization system).
