Honda Fit: Compact, yet Spacious

The Honda Fit represents a line of subcompact cars.

The latest 3d-generation Honda Fit appeared on the market in 2013 and was a way different from its predecessors. First of all, it’s an updated body construction that has been drastically strengthened with upgraded body steel. You’ll forget about any noise inside since enhanced material for better sound-absorbing is applied. Aerodynamic performance has been improved as well that positively shows up on drivability. A suspension system has also been redesigned.

The new Honda Fit’s provides a more spacious cabin at the expense of some constructive changes. A re-arranged cabin layout and elongated wheelbase have allowed boosting the rear legroom by 4.8 inches. As a result, the Honda Fit is 1.6 inches shorter compared to its predecessor though wheelbase is stretched by 1.2 inch.

Under the hood you can find a powerful 1.3/1.5 L Earth Dreams engine which works in pair with either six-speed manual or seven-speed semi-automatic transmission. CVT automatic is also available.
