Can you add paddle shifters to a Honda Accord?

Is it possible to have paddle shifters added to a car? I have a 2012 Accord LX-S automatic transmission. The steering wheel actually already has a spot and the holes for where paddle shifters would go because the V6 model came with them. Would it be possible to have them added? Would the dealership know, or is this something you would need a shop to handle?

You can ask both a dealer and a body shop, but the real question is - WHY? Why would you want to spend probably several thousand $$, when it's an automatic?

Hi thi is not an extra add on. It is a different type of gearbox sometimes called a tip tronic.

  • When you buy/lease a brand new car, are you able to add things/customize it at the dealer? In 2014 my friend financed a base model Jetta brand new red. However his model came with fog lights and LED turn signals but had hub caps. However, my other friend had a 2014 Jetta as well and had the middle trim and had no fog lights or LED turn signals but had aluminum alloy rims. Can you add things like that to a car? I know at Honda if I wanted Fog lights on the middle trim they would ask me to upgrade entirely to the highest trim which i don't need, I just want the fog lights

  • Can two kayaks and a paddle board fit on the roof of a car? Hi. I just purchased two kayaks (the kind you sit on top of not inside of) at the spur of the moment last year and my family loves them. We were considering getting a (stand-up) paddle board as well but we wanted to make sure we could fit it on the roof along with the two kayaks. We use the J hooks for the kayaks on top of a Honda minivan. Would this work? If so, how?
