Follow the brake pedal shaft under the dash and you will find either 1 or 2 switches. If there's 1 then adjust it so it touch's the pedal closer. If there's 2 then push the buttons to find the brake light one and adjust that one.
Hi the modern car has a life expectancy of just 8 years or 100k miles. Beyond which it becomes a money pit. This is the modern fact of life. So time to thinking more in terms of replacing the whole car. Not just the engine it also has an engine management system the computer which controls how the engine works. So it is not just case of changing this or that.
- Vehicle I drive is a 2007 Honda Element that just turned 64,000 miles. I'm rigorous about keeping up on maintaining it People constantly approach me and ask if I want to sell it because the body and interior are in great condition as are all the internal workings and suspension. Even though Honda does not require synthetic motor oil I use Valvoline full synthetic and change it every 4,000 miles with a new factory filter. My question is how long will my engine last?
