I have a 99 Honda accord and steam is coming from the overflow tank?
Recently replaced a heater hose and Its not the thermostat please help
Hi change the radiator cap the spring has become weal over time and is now letting the pressure escape.
That is where the steam is suppose to come from, so that is working properly and normally. However maybe your rad fan is not coming on if it seems to gets steaming hot fast.
Check for fuses there.
Otherwise less traffic jam traffic and more open highway will cool stuff down without the fan running.
Have an auto electrician or mechanic who knows his stuff check it out.
It should be that simple. Rad cap is fine… It is doing what it is designed to do.
- What is the the difference between a resin tank long and a resin tank short? For a 2001 honda passport? What is the the difference between a resin tank long and a resin tank short? For a 2001 honda passport 2wd? What are the measurements for each thank you
- We have a 2006 Honda CBR. When you drive it, there's a loud whirring noise coming the back underneath side. What could cause that noise? The noise is situated around a CV boot on the left underneath side where the differential connects to the middle.
- Does the fuel tank size have any impact on fuel economy between vehicles? For example the new Honda Accords have a 56 Litre tank while the CRV has a 53 L and the Rogue a 55 L. Now the 2 latters are compact crossovers and are arguably bigger in size than the Accord, so would that mean they are using up more gas? Would that mean its better to buy the Accord if we were going based on just gas mileage?
- How many times would I have to refill my gas tank for a road trip to Chicago? I live in California near LAX. The car I would be using would be a 2004 Honda Civic Coupe I believe it has 33 mpg.
