Subaru Legacy 2.5GT or Honda Accord 6mt?
I'm in the market for a new car. I'm upgrading from my first (automatic) car, and I'm looking to get into a manual, with some power. I'm deciding between 2 cars, a 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT and a 2004 Honda Accord V6 6 speed. Both make good power, and the Subaru is a bit faster. I live in a region where it snows during the winter, so the AWD could be an advantage, although I could do with FWD. I also like the Subaru name (more respect than Honda, Gold Rim rights). The Accord is a coupe where the Legacy is a 4 door sedan. Both are within my budget of $6,500. Obviously the choice would be Subaru, but here's the catch. The Legacy has 130K on the odo, where the Honda has only 96k. So, should I get the Honda with the reliability, or the Legacy with the practicality and AWD? Will I have any expensive problems with the Subaru?
The Subaru is quicker than the Accord? Are you sure? I have an 06 Accord coupe, v-6, 6 speed manual. I does 0-60 in 5.9 according to Car and Driver. I don't dog it, but when I pull out on the highway, I have no concerns about getting up to speed fast. I think you will find the Accord to be more sporty than the Subaru.
Granted, the Subaru will be better in the snow, but how often is that a concern? And I'm not anti Subaru, my wife had 2 Foresters and now has a 2014 Impreza Sport. Great cars, but dogs.
- Why Suzuki is not as popular as Toyota, Honda.Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru? I hardly see any Suzuki vehicles on the road, and wonder why if t is also Japanese. it appears that both Mitsubishi and Suzuki lag behind its Japanese counterparts. I feel Suzuki are very good cars, but most people fail to see that and they don't notice it.
- How did Mitsubishi compare to Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, and Mazda in the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's? I remember back in the early 2000's, I used to see many Mitsubishi's being driven. Now, I hardly see them around. Was Mitsubishi, generally, as good as the other car-makes mentioned above, in terms of general customer-satisfaction (fuel-efficiency, reliability, etc.)? In the US
- Honda 2015 vs Subaru Legacy 2015 vs CAMRY? Which is better first car. I would like to buy a car that I can keep for years to come so I want something that I won't get bored of and something that looks good on the outside as well as the inside. Know any other cars that are better than the ones that I've listed?
- Which would win in a race, 2008 Subaru legacy sedan, or 2012 honda civic sport? I want to settle this without actually racing, the Subaru has more horsepower and a sport manual transmission, so I'm confident it will beat the honda civic sports coupe
