Why is my taillight fuse blowing out on my honda accord? - 1
You've got a short in the system somewhere. It's not going to fix itself.
Shorting somewhere. Have fun finding it.
It's going to take an experienced electrician or auto electric technician to find the "short" to ground. This is not a simple procedure to write about.
Hi the wire which supplies the power is earthing out on the body.
The first thing I'd try since tail lights are also dual bulbs in most vehicles is install new front marker and rear tail light bulbs.Sometimes a short in the wiring harness or a bad socket can cause that issue but again if the bulb shorts out it can also blow the fuse.
Hope that helps and best of luck.
- How many amps can I draw from an add on fuse circuit connected to the fuse box? I want to install an invertor on my 1996 Honda using a fuse add in circuit like this on: http://m.aliexpress.com/item-desc/702894978.html I do not want to install a relay off the battery so is this a safe option to draw 20amps? Though the fuse box. I only want to know if its safe to draw that much current though this method. I know all about the alternators limitions etc.
- Why does my fuse keep blowing in my cigarette lighter when it exceeds the factory specs? I bought a Satechi sound-fly AUX FM modulator, which plugs into my cigarette lighter. It includes a 500mA fuse and a replacement. Both of these blew out. I tried a 2 Amp and a 5 Amp. They blew out as well. I drive a 2003 Honda CR-V, and the lighter is 12V.
