Mechanical quality is about equal in terms of overall production. For the most part I would go with Honda. Maintenance is easier

Better is based on personal choice. The Mercedes is more luxurious but will not last any longer than the Honda, and will be more expensive to repair when it breaks down. The Mercedes cost about twice that of the Honda.

Most people would say Mercedes is better, but it depends on what you mean by "better." Both have about the same reliability and even share many of the same luxury features (in the high-end models of Honda), but Mercedes offers many more models, engine choices, and options than Honda -- but Mercedes cost a lot more.

I never own or drove a honda or benz. Had to choose I would pick a Honda, benz in maintance will be very expensive car insurance will be high and also finance one will be high in payments it's really not worth owning one in my mind.

Mercedes: luxury car

Typically Hondas are driven by normal people while Mercedes are driven by the richer. I'll be honest my family is "rich" but I'd drive a Honda any day.
