How do you pass your road test for drivers license?

So I'm 19 and I haven't gotten my license yet. But I recently went to the DMV and was going to take my road test but automatically failed because of a crack on the windshield which is understandable. The car that I took wasn't mine it's a friends car, it was my choice to take it because it was small and I don't have another car that is small. I only can use the Honda Odyssey and that car is big and hard to parallel park and reverse park. I guess I need more practice. But I don't know what to do, I do ask my mom if I can go practice but she gives an attitude and rolls her eyes at me. Then tells me I don't need it. Before I went on the first road test she kept telling me to practice and that I needed a license. So I don't understand my mom she acts really weird. I just wish I had more supportive people around. I'm the oldest and my stepdad doesn't give a s*** about my license he didn't even care about me failing or asking if I want to go practice.

Actually you did not fail. You were not allowed to take the test due to the condition of the vehicle, but that is different than failing.

Seeing as you have little family support, you may want to talk to a driving school about a few practice sessions and taking the test in their car

Use the opportunity available to you to practice using the vehicle in which you will be tested. That's it.

And what would you like us to do for you? Tell you what, you can come over and practice driving in my SUV. Oh wait, that's too big for you.

"How do you pass your road test for drivers license?"

I showed up on the Saturday after I turned 16, took the test on the computer, easily passed it. Didn't study or anything, everything is basically common sense. Then I took the driving test in my mom's 1988 Dodge Caravan (this was back in the early/mid 90's) easily passed, Got my license. It's not rocket science. Getting your license in this country (U, S,) is absurdly easy, which is reflected in the standard of driving we're subjected to.

If it were up to me. You'd have to take your driving test with a manual transmission (unless you have a physical disability). Concepts like lane discipline and knowing how a car works would be emphasized more than they are now.

  • Take a nice car to road test? I have my road test in 3 days and I have been practicing on 3 cars. My moms Honda Pilot, my car(hyundai Genesis), and my dads 2013 Maserati. I'm comfortable with all 3 of them. Should I take my dads maserati on the road test to get the instructor more lenient because it is a nice car or should I take a normal car?
  • Test light on positive lead on starter relay comes on when the motorcycle is off, when bike key is turn on, test light is off? Does this mean starter relay is bad? I'm trying to diagnose my electrical problem on a honda cbr f4. The lights turned on but when I tried to start bike all power shut off and now nothing powers on.
  • Motorcycle road skills test in Louisiana? So I have study material for the written test, but I need to know what I'm up against on a road skills test in Louisiana. I need this, because this is my first road bike, plus not to mention its a 87 Honda Shadow 700, which is a big step from a trail dirt bike. It'd be nice to know all regs, disqualifications, and the maneuvers that I have to do in order to pass. Drawings are welcomed as well to explain the maneuvers.
  • Have you seen any road-accident occurring before your very eyes? Lately, in our area, a speeding Honda-City car hit a bike-driver; The bike-driver was sent flying to a height and then fell hard on the coal-tar road, and died after a few hours in hospital;
