How strong is the 2008-2016 Toyota Sequoia's roof in a rollover compared to the 2016 Honda Pilot? How safe is it in general a comparison?

I'm looking to buy either a 2016 Sequoia or a 2016 Pilot. I would like to have the Sequoia over the pilot because we will have +3 carseats and want to have lots of kids.

However, from some rollover pics I've seen of Sequoias, it looks like the roofs crush like tin cans. How would they compare to SUV's like the 2016 Pilot which receives good safety ratings, specifically roof strength?

PS: I know there's a greater chance of rollover, but I'm more concerned which holds up better in that case and in general.

Added (1). By greater chance of rollover, I'm referring to the Sequoia.

Added (2). By greater "chance of rollover", I'm referring to the Sequoia.

I'm curious about your PS statement "I know there's a greater chance of rollover" - in what are you saying - the Pilot? You will have a greater chance or rollover in the Sequoia, it's a body on frame truck chassis with a much higher center of gravity. It's also bigger and heavier so it won't corner or stop as well as a Pilot - consider that it's not just how well a vehicle can take an accident that makes it safe, it's also which one is easier to avoid the accident to begin with.

The Sequoia is a bigger, more expensive, and less efficient vehicle. It can hold more, tow more, and might be a bit more rugged if you ever did go offroad (because it's a truck, not a crossover), but it's pretty much inferior to the Pilot in every other way beyond that. It's also old even in that class - Suburbans and Expeditions get much better reviews than Sequoia's.

All that said - I have a 2016 Pilot - it's a great vehicle, just get that.
