160k on a Honda Accord sedan?

Is it a good or bad choice? Clean title for 6,800 but 160 k milage on it.

Added (1). it is a 2012 accord LX model

I'd ask for like 4,500. Honda's reliable but that's not worth it for that many miles

Hondas are good, and very reliable…5k tops, 160,000 on the clock in america is nothing, its easy mileage. Big long straight roads, in Europe that would be wrecked by now.

Year & model? Use an online price guide like Kelley Blue Book (KBB.com) to find a suggested retail price for a used car.

I would not buy a used car with more than 50,000 miles on it.

If you don't even think it's important to give us the year of the vehicle you probably shouldn't be shopping for a car by yourself.
All Honda motors need the valves adjusted every 60,000 miles due to the common problem of the valves getting tight.
Was the timing belt done yet?

160,000 km? That is a good price
160,000 miles? $5000 sounds better

No. I can buy one with only $100k miles for that price. Besides that, year and mileage are not reliable indicators of condition. Any car needs to be thoroughly test driven, the maintenance and accident history needfs to be investigated, and the vehicle needs to be inspected for mechanical defects by a qualified person before an informed decision can be made.

The 2012 is a good year, assuming the maintenance has been kept up. As with any used car, pay the $100 or so for your mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection before committing to it.

There were years that the Accord was a horror - from 1998-2004 (some say later) Honda automatic transmissions, especially those mated to 6 cylinder engines, had massive problems. In 2007 the rear brakes wore so fast some people were replacing them at each oil change.

Carcomplaints.com mentions that the seat comfort was the big sore point in the 2012.
