2007 Honda Accord antifreeze?
What kind of anti freeze do I use, is there a mixture for it? Honda 2007 accord 4cyl
Any 'universal' antifreeze will be fine. The important part is to use it as a 50:50 mix with water.
When you go to the auto parts they can tell you if a special anti freeze is needed.
I wouldnt think so, but ya never know with cars now days.
You can either go to Honda and buy Honda antifreeze or you can drain the radiator and fill the system back up with Advance Auto's compatible for all vehicle antifreeze. If you buy the straight antifreeze and add your own water to make a 50/50 mix it's half the price of buying premixed antifreeze.
You can either use Honda Anti-Freeze or you can use Prestone AF2100 Extended Life 50/50 Antifreeze.
- I have a problem with my radiator and antifreeze, What could be the problem? Hi guys I have a Honda civic lx 97, I bought about 7 months ago, since then I have bought a new radiator because the old one had a huge leaking problem, anyways I never new How long a gallon of antifreeze could last me. I now know I use too much (I've bought two gallons once the first time i changed the radiator, again today[spand time of 4 months]) antifreeze I don't see any leakage, what could the problem be?
- How is there antifreeze in my oil? So my 97 honda civic was leaking oil a lot so I replaced my head gasket but when I took the head off my whole engine was filled with oil mixed with antifreeze. My pistons and everything else were okay but what would cause this and how can I fix it?
- Could antifreeze be in the engine? Recently I had an issue where my 1996 Honda Civic temp gauge started to rise. I stopped the car to let it cool. I got to my destination and called husband to bring antifreeze to fill it back up. I drove it home that night and parked it. Found the problem was the radiator cap. Well now I'm noticing when I start the engine it sounds like it struggles and the RPMs rise higher than normal. It idles fine after a moment. Could this mean antifreeze leaked into the engine?
- Can I use Toyota coolant/antifreeze on my Honda Civic if I were to completely flush it before doing so? I know it sounds weird but the reason I'm doing this is because I work at a Toyota dealership and I can get the fluid for half price
