Any ideas on cause of a clunking noise (2007 (7th Gen) Honda Accord EX-L V6)?

I own a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6 (7th Generation). Recently, there has been a clunking noise coming from the rear of the car. I'm looking for ideas as to its cause (potentially for an "easy" DIY job). I live in Michigan, so conditions are prime for corrosion and road damage (potholes galore).

The clunking seems to occur after braking (during acceleration) and at lower speeds. I looked at the rear brakes recently and found even wear patterns. I don't suspect the brakes are the cause, but I haven't discounted it completely.

I figured I might as well get a list of other options before I get the car up on the jack stand to figure it out.

Potential issues I'm toying with…
1) Brakes/calipers
2) Shot shocks/springs
3) Roll bar assembly (Broken droplinks? I've heard this is a problem in the front, but I don't know about the rear.)

Ideas for other things to check on while I've got the car on lifts would be appreciated.

Go ahead and check the rear suspension out and if everything turn out good then I would look into the spare tire cavity. I once travel more than 50 miles (It was the time I was a mobile technician in the late 80's) to find out that the noise was an unsecured spare tire.

Could not charge the "Poor" customer but he insisted to give me some cocos for gas and breakfast. Lol
