Handy girl with a 93 Honda problem?
My 93 Honda Accord 190,000 miles. Last week it wouldn't start up and I found that it was the main relay and replaced it. It now starts up, but needs to rev up to keep from stalling. It starts up pretty rough. I'm a new owner of this car and the old owner passed away so I don't know what has been done.

You'll need to find out if the problem is spark or gas related. What is the fuel pressures? Does the vehicle has any vacuum leak?
Not a vacuum leak - a vacuum leak will simply raise the idle because it has a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor. Mine had a large leak in the intake manifold gasket and it wanted to idle at 2000 rpm but cycled to near stall every 2-3 seconds.
One of the critical questions in troubleshooting is "did anything happen to cause this?" It worked before the main relay failed, right? I think the ECU is just confused (that cycling I talked about is something the Honda ECU does when it can't track the mixture) and has to be reset. The best way is to unplug fuse 24 for ten seconds but if you have trouble identifying it you can disconnect the battery. If the radio is original you will need the security code, though, if you do that.

I now know I use too much (I've bought two gallons once the first time i changed the radiator, again today[spand time of 4 months]) antifreeze I don't see any leakage, what could the problem be?
