Honda and Accord questions?
Honda promotes Accord by saying "it has a fuel efficiency of 30 mpg (miles per gallon) on highway." (1) What is incorrect about this statement? (2) If the best engine currently available can run at 48 mpg, what is Accord's fuel efficiency? (3) Suppose next year, a breakthrough technology improves the best engine's performance to 85 mpg and Accord's to 50 mpg, what would be productivity growth, efficiency change, and technical change for Accord? (4) How can you check the results obtained above is correct?
Technically, 30 mpg is a fuel consumption value, not fuel efficiency.
I'm going to say the efficiency they want you to calculate is 30 mph / 48 mpg * 100
Third question should be straight forward now
- I have a 2005 honda accord lx and it shakes/vibrates when i'm stopped and gear is on drive or reverse? There's no check engine light on, and i'm thinking i need a diagnosis. Should i do a diagnosis at a dealership they said 126$ or should i take it to a local shop? Any comments
- I have a 1999 honda accord and I want to make it louder and faster, how? I don't know a lot about cars and in getting into customizing now that I have a car. I just need some help.
