I have a 97 honda accord se 4 banger and it will not start up. I've checked numerous items including Fuses?

The main relay sensor, fuel is getting to fuel rail, sprayed starter fluid into intake and it starts up but will not stay running. I don't have way to check the fuel pressure though. What else could be causing the problem

Most likely will be the fuep pump or the main relay. Either checking the ignition system:

or the fuel pump fuse or fuel pump need to be replaced. This is how to check the fuel pressure on Honda: Quick test for fuel pressure without the pressure gauge::

What do you mean the main relay sensor? Was it this: Same guy ;-)

All else has failed? How about checking into the timing marks for the 2.2L?:

  • Is it ok to leave items in the trunk of a car? I drive a 1999 Honda Civic and i was wondering is it okay to leave items like washer fluid or a case of water or anyone items (other than food) in the trunk. I do not have windows where you can see the trunk but i leave it outside of my house since there's no room in the garage and usually the temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius during the summer. Will it go bad or i should be fine?
