Go to a local workshop and ask for a check for any serious damage of the car and also the engine. Tip that mechanic a bit.
It is a lot of money for a car that is 23 years old, and i think that the mileage is 225.000.

But I see similar preludes around my area that sell for about 5-6 grand with "reasonable" miles. (140k-170k). Now I'm having second thoughts, any suggestions? No doubt I'm in love with this prelude, but 14 grand is gut wrenching.
