What is this part called and what are is the bolt tightening sequence and torque specs?

This is the bottom of an f23a1 honda accord engine block. I'm wondering what that thing with the cross shape going through it on the bottom is called, the pattern to remove it and the torque specs to put it back on. I'm new to this and haven't had much luck with my own research. Thank you. What is this part called and what are is the bolt tightening sequence and torque specs - 1

Go buy a shop manual. It will have everything you need to know.

Well, the main bearing caps seem to be made into one assembly. Years ago, they added a second strengthening assembly called a main girdle. It made the block stronger for unplanned horsepower that the factory had not intended. I would call your piece a girdled main cap assembly. Honda may have a different name. Surely there's a very specific torque specification, and since it is so large, there would be a sequence to tightening, and likely various steps of torque value.

The best place to locate your needed information is a Honda factory service manual or overhaul manual. Other automotive sources are Chilton, Motor, Haynes, etc.
