Which car is preferable between honda accord 2007 and toyota camry 2006?

And also maintenance

I have an '02 Camry that my Daughter now drives. It has never had a single major repair. It now has nearly 200,000 miles and we have had it since new. It's a 4 cylinder and it gets about 30 mpg in mixed driving. My girlfriend has an '05 Accord EXV6 that she has had since new. He Daughter is also driving it now. It gets probably 25 mpg. It has about 250,000 miles on it, and it has been 100% reliable too. They are slightly different years than your potential cars, but they are both the same generations of the models. I can't say enough about what good cars they both are. The Accord is definitely sportier and tighter handling. The Camry is softer riding and maybe a little quieter. One thing to remember is that Accords need an expensive timing belt replacement at regular (long) intervals. The 4 cylinder Camry has a timing chain that never needs to be replaced. Before buying the Accord, make sure the belt has been replaced, or that it isn't due for a long time. If it breaks, your engine is toast.

Depends on mileage, engines and options and body condition. I have always preferred Honda's. In the my memory I still remember seeing a 69 toyota Corona sitting at the local gas station waiting for a part. 2 years waiting. Toyota still does have parts problems for certain models. I doubt it with Camry. I have never had parts problems with Honda's

In general all equal I would still go with the accord again depends on the options and engines. I had a 2001 Honda Accord EX till I got hit in 2012 with 130,000+ miles with no major repairs. Eh my struts were beginning to get soft. I have rented Camry's for work and they were okay. Nothing fancy. The 2007 version of the Accord was sort of milquetoast in styling. Nothing special

Both the Honda and the Toyota have very comparable ratings as far as overall quality, reliability, safety and fuel economy. The service and maintenance history could be a deciding factor. Can both sellers provide proof in hand of all prior maintenance? They certainly should be able to if they were properly maintained.

Honda Accord is built better than is the Toyota. Honda has a quality to them that feels expensive where as Toyota lacks something to them.

They are both very reliable. The Honda usually has a higher price based on market demand. Hondas can get better mpg than Toyotas. The Camry is a very comfortable car and will ride quieter than the Honda. Get them checked by a mechanic to see which is in better shape.

Toyotas, as a brand, are LAME. Go with the Honda.
