Are Chevy blazers good cars?
I'm 18 and I want a used SUV thats good looking and I like Jimmy and Blazer so far. I'm looking for a Toyota or a Honda because I want something to have fun with, as in going camping, bit of off roading here and there and travel long distances as well. This is gonna be a first car for me so I'm looking to buy one thats under 150k on millage and plan to do a full maintenance. What are your opinions
I have a 99 blazer and it is still in perfect condition. I'm the second owner to it. There has not been any major work that has been done to it either. It is very reliable. I also owned a Jimmy and was the second owner of that car as well. It wasn't as well taken care of as my blazer was but it was still a good vehicle. When buying one of the two make sure you know about any mechanical work that has been done to them. It does make a big difference.
I would go with the Honda, or maybe a Nissan! I've been a mechanic for over 50 years!
They are solid cars. Their not great at anything though

They are good trucks, just tend to become money pits as the miles pile on. I liked the torque from the old 4.3 Vortec trucks.
Honda and Toyota are more reliable for sure. Want reliability and good fuel mileage then get one of those.
- Why are Chevy Cruzes bad cars? My co-worker keeps telling me that my car is very gay. For the record my parents bought me that car. It was a graduation present when I graduated from high school 2 years ago. He drives a Honda. I just want to know why people don't like Chevy cruzes and chevys in general
- Why is it that some husbands let their wives drive luxury cars while they drive ordinary cars? I've been observing some of my neighbors (one of them is a stay at home mom) and the husbands drive ordinary cars like Honda Accord or Honda Pilot. But the wives tend to drive luxury cars like Acura TSX or Acura RDX (some form of luxury car). What is the reason for this? Why do wives get to drive luxury cars while the husband drives ordinary car? I should say some of them. Its not a problem though but was only curious. The neighbors are Asians actually.
- Is it better to sell Cheap cars or Expensive cars? As a car salesman? Some people would think cheap cars but people with bad credit get declined often. I know this because my credit sucks and i'm almost always declined for cars. I'm sure this makes it tougher to get a sale right? This has me thinking, i want to sell cars. Should selling luxury cars like mercedes and bmw be better than selling hondas and toyotas?
- Which is better, a 2009 Honda Fit or a 2011 Chevy Aveo? The Honda Fit is priced at $10,490 and has 67,963 miles. The Chevrolet Aveo is priced at $11,490 and has 38,503 miles. The Aveo is also red which I'm worried about the paint fading. I've heard Honda's are really reliable cars but this one has a bit more miles on it, I'm not too familiar with Chevy's at all but I just need to know which is a better choice or if both of them are overpriced.
