Can i trade in my car or refinance after 7 months of my credit is bad?

I financed a Chrysler 200 after my dad died i guess just to feel like i had control of something i don't know but it was 29,000 ( i traded in my Toyota and had negative equity) i kept that car for 2 years but the payments were to high and i was so stressed so i did a voluntary repossession but didn't know i would be losing my job so instead of getting the car i wanted i got what i could afford but I'm paying $379 a month for a 2013 Honda that sucks. I really want to get a SUV once I've been at my new job for 6 months but i don't know if it's even an option. I thought about just buying a car at an auction and giving up this one to but then I'd never get my credit to 700

Likely you are upside down on the loan and no one is going to want to take the risk.

You didn't learn your lesson last time did you? The Honda is a good car, reliable, relatively inexpensive to insure and gets good gas mileage.

You can but there's even MORE negative equity. Stay with what you have and make payments on time.

  • Will Honda trade in my car for a new one with bad credit? I have had my Honda for about 3 years. Always on time with my payments. I would like to trade it in for a new one but I have since ruined my credit with defaults on credit cards and student loans. I'm filling for bankrupsy soon. My question is will Honda trade the car in for me because I have been loyal and i have established good credit with them?
  • Is there any bank that i can get a motorcycle loan even though i have bad credit? Hi, i have bad credit (i'm 19 and i'm working on my credit) and i'm looking for a motorcycle to save miles and gas for my car and i just got declined on my credit unions and i'm hoping to see if there are lenders with decent rates for bad credit. I make 30k a year and i would love to get a honda shadow and yes, i'm licensed for motorcycle. And is motorcycle lender a legit site?
  • Is it a bad idea for me to refinance my original Honda auto loan? My credit has improved over the last 6 months and I would like to refinance in another 6 months or so once I feel more comfortable with my score. BUT is this a bad idea? Will Honda scold me for this when I go to the Service dept for maintenance? Or will other future lenders see me as some sort of unreliable consumer moving forward? I worry about this. Any advice would be great and much appreciated!
  • Where can I get a newer car with poor credit and trade in my current car? I have a 99 honda civic DX coupe, it's worth in KBB is about 1000 right now. I wanted to trade it in, and finance a newer civic at my local Honda dealer but with my credit a little low would that even work? I also wouldn't have a down payment besides my trade in
