Halogen headlight bulbs dim over time. It doesn't matter if they're in a 2001 Honda Civic LX or any other vehicle.

  • How to read spark plugs over time? I know how to read spark plugs but over time, would a reading be accurate? Have a Honda whose spark plug is maybe 2 years old, would its reading still be similarly accurate as if it was only after a first good week of use? Stock everything, the porcelain is black, I'm upjetting now with a aftermarket exhaust and filter, should I upjet with if the porcelain is black? With the length of time? Should I try a new reading with a new plug? (Already installed one)
  • Why do auto manufacturers increase the size of their vehicles over time? Example: Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV-4 started out much smaller than they are now. Why not just keep them at a certain size instead of going jumbo/bluto with them?
  • Turn light signal blinking fast but the bulbs appear intact, just dim. What can be the problem? My Honda Civic 98 has its right turn signal light blinking very fast, however both front and rear bulbs are working, they just also blink very fast and seem much more dim than on the other side. What could be the problem and how do I fix it?
  • My lights dim randomly at night while driving? I've been noticing my lights are dimming both headlights and HUD lights. The dimming is mildly noticeable but not to the point their off but annoying. Any answers out there why? Honda Civic 2001 DX coupe (stock)
