2006-2010 honda civic si or 2004-2009 Subaru WRX?

I'm interested in buying a car that's decent to look at and has a little zip.

I've been able to find 2004,2005 Subaru wrx sti's for under 15k
I'm most interested in buying a newer model wrx or si
My question is which car is more stylish and has better body kits and customization options in terms of exterior?

I like the si a lot, but I don't want to be mistaken for a soccer mom driving around in a civic

Curse Honda and there ability to appeal to people of all ages.

I would choose the WRX in terms of engineering and design alone. The WRX is manufactured with the concept that the vehicle will compete for the world rally cross. In its true from the WRX is a pure breed sports car out of the box compared to the honda civic si.

The WRX has sophisticated awd system, steering, engine, cooling and braking systems. These alone are major consideration in terms of customizing the vehicle especially when performance is in mind. There are a lot of available parts for the WRX in the market and WRX can easily get 300hp by just basic tuning.

Yes, the Civic saves gas and has 200hp out of the box but, it will not give you the same performance level as the WRX. FWD is just okay. And you get parts for your civic too.

At the end of the day, Parking the a suped up civic Si beside a stock WRX. People respect the WRX and gets second looks.

Honda civic

The WRX is quicker and handles better. But it also requires premium fuel, synthetic oil, and costs more to maintain and repair in the long run. Insurance is also a bit higher.

The Civic Si is the smarter choice for most people. However, if you live in an area that gets snow, the WRX is the better choice.
