Are both front struts the same or do they have a Right & Left side label?
2002 Honda civic with 126,000 miles.
It's time to finally replace my front struts. I'm buying OEM struts online but do I buy a right & left strut? Or are they both the same/interchangeable?
As said by others, there's a difference for left & right struts. But if the OEM ones are not a complete assembly, with a new spring and all, I recommend you have them done by pros. It's quite dangerous and besides, the springs and hardware are worn out too. Monroe, Gabriel, & Moog, all make a high quality, complete strut assemblies.
It is listed a left or right, they do not interchange
They are different, the numbers are different,
buy one each…
The struts are not identical in the fitting mounts,"left" side & "right" side, only.
Don't buy car parts on line and have them shipped to you. You can't take them back after the car is apart and you have a week waiting for shipping. Buy your parts from Advance Auto on line and pick the parts up at their closest store to you. If you do that they give you the same prices I get on my commercial account.
- Why motocycle tire label rear/front? I'm a bit confused I was shopping for tires for ma Honda SH150 Scooter. All the tires I found are labeled front or rear and they do not come in pairs. Very confusing. I've always bought car tires with no such issues. Can I just buy two tires of the recommended size. And not worry about the front/rear thing… Help

- When you adjust coilovers do they all have to be on the same height? Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover system Honda Civic A guy is selling a car, but it's like way too low. He said you can adjust the coilovers and I was watching a video, it seems easy but takes some time, even for just adjusting one. Do I have to get behind all four wheels and adjust them the same?
