Buzzing noise under dash when Ebreak is released?
I recently purchased a 2003 1.7L 5 speed Honda Civic. It is in amazing condition and I only have one issue that I haven't been able to diagnose. When I first start it up it doesn't make any noise but as soon as I lower the Ebreak a buzzing type noise starts under the dash, sometimes it will keep going on and on but sometimes if the heater is on it will stop after a while, and only a few times has it not made the noise at all. Any ideas or possibilities would be greatly appreciated!
Added (1). Buzzing type noise under dash when PARKING BREAK is release
1st of all, that vehicle has a parking brake and not an "e" brake ( you would not use the parking brake in an emergency, right? )… 2nd - w/o seeing the vehicle, it's not possible to know what the noise is… Could be a loose part of the dash, something vibrating or?
Car is old. Hit the dashboard with your hand when it is buzzing. Could be a bad blower motor.
I always check the exhaust shields first when a customer hers rattling noises.
- When in 2004 was the 2005 Honda Element released? I got this answer as a response for one of my other questions. "Most of them do. Usually the cars come out with that 'year model' months before that calendar year. I have an '05 Honda Element I bought in '04" I started to wonder when in 2004 the 2005 Honda Element first came out.

- We have a 2006 Honda CBR. When you drive it, there's a loud whirring noise coming the back underneath side. What could cause that noise? The noise is situated around a CV boot on the left underneath side where the differential connects to the middle.
- 4 stroke 50cc scooter makes loud buzzing noise at 55 KPH and won't go over 60KPH? I have a fairly new 4 stroke 50cc Honda scooter. I recently put in a new CDI hoping to increase performance. It helped a little bit, but when I go over 55 KPH I start to hear a high pitched buzzing sound and the bike won't go past 60. Even on a flat surface. I'm not sure what the problem is. Does my bike have some kind of limiter? Is it the pulley or muffler? Or is 60 kph the fastest my bike will go?
