Can a 2015 honda civic keep up with a nissan altima?

Lets say both drivers where two on the freeway, one guy driving a 2015 honda civic and the other one driving a 1998 altima. The driver of the 1998 altima is speeding around 100-105 mph @3500 rpms only. My question is could a honda civic keep up with the old altimas performance? I'm asking bc since the civic isn't in the same class as the altima, i'm wondering how the new civic would do aganisnt the old altima. The altima itself in great mechanical condtion.

The 2015 Honda Civic has a top speed of 130 mph. The 1998 Nissan Altima has a (Governed) top speed of 112 mph. The Civic will leave the Nissan in it's dust.

You asked this again? Civic would win

SPEEDS OVER 70 ON A HWY… ARE USUALLY ILLEGAL… SO, I SAY: DON't DO IT. DON't SPEED!
AND HAVE SOME CONSIDERATION FOR US SLOWER DRIVERS!

Mark:

Why don't you just Google the governed (electronically limited) speeds of those two cars?
